The 7 metrics every multichannel seller should check daily

May 30, 2026

Checking everything is checking nothing. If you sell across channels, these are the 7 metrics that truly move the business and that you should see at a glance every day.

1. Real net margin (per product and channel)

Not gross: what’s left after fees, fulfillment, shipping, returns and tax. It’s the only metric that tells you if you’re winning.

2. Real available

How many units you can promise today, without overselling. Total minus reserved, in-transit and non-sellable.

3. Sales velocity

Units per day per product. It’s the basis of the forecast and the first signal of a product taking off or fading.

4. Days of inventory

At your current velocity, in how many days do you run out? It’s your countdown to a stockout.

5. Stockouts and stockout risk

Not just sold-out products: the ones that will sell out this week if you don’t act. Anticipate > react.

6. ACoS / ad spend

How much you spend on Ads per peso sold, and — key — how it affects your real margin, not just gross sales.

7. Return rate

A product with many returns can show good apparent margin and still be losing money. Watch it per SKU.

The problem isn’t which, it’s where

These 7 metrics exist, but scattered across each channel’s dashboards and your spreadsheets. By the time you assemble them, they’ve changed. The value is in seeing them together, fresh and per product.

In short

Real margin, available, velocity, days of inventory, stockouts, ACoS and returns: that’s the minimum dashboard of a serious multichannel seller. iqseller brings them into one actionable panel.
